Installation Technician

About the Role

As an Installation Technician, you play a key role in helping homeowners improve their comfort and lower their utility bills. Our services include air sealing and insulation in attics and basements.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an adaptable and reliable individual who can see a job through from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to communicate effectively with both customers and co-workers. Knowledge of home construction and building science is a plus, but if you don’t have direct experience, we’re happy to train the right person. If you’re dependable, enjoy working with your hands, and are eager to start a career with room to grow, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Install energy-saving solutions such as insulation and air sealing in attics and basements
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a clean, professional, and respectful work environment
• Work closely with a team to complete projects on time and to company standards
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  

Qualifications

• Knowledge of home construction, building science, or trades is helpful, but not required
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in the energy efficiency field
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to work in cramped spaces
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 35 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to wear a respirator

Other Requirements

• Valid Class C driver’s license

Compensation and Benefits

• Wage: $23 – $28/hour + monthly bonus program
• Hiring Bonus: $1000

Work Schedule

• Full-time, typically 40 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, traditional construction hours
