Instrument Person

Overview

NV5 is a provider of professional and technical engineering and consulting solutions to public and private sector clients in the infrastructure, energy, construction, program management and environmental markets. NV5 offers a full range of professional services in offices throughout the U.S.

We are looking for an Instrument Person to support the Survey group.

Responsibilities

The Instrument Person will demonstrate knowledge and have experience in the following:

• Working knowledge of surveying equipment
• Experience with Topcon Total Stations, TDS software a plus
• Read a survey grade level
• Take level notes and drawing sketches
• Perform basic calculations
• Upload/download data to/from a data collector on a regular basis
• Maintain field equipment
• Stock survey fleet truck with supplies and maintain inventory
• Basic survey fleet truck maintenance (wash, check oil, etc.)

Qualifications

• HS degree/diploma or equivalent
