Intern – Dawn & Dusk (and Moore on Main)

This student internship is being offered as a part of EO's Ignite Internships program and is for high school students only. This internship is offered in partnership with Dawn & Dusk (and Moore on Main). This position is in person, located on Main Street in Abingdon, not remote. Students will be employed by Dawn & Dusk and all hiring decisions will be made by Dawn & Dusk personnel.  Dawn & Dusk has provided the following job description for this internship:

The intern will learn about running two small businesses. The primary position will be working in a kitchen in a new small restaurant under a professional chef. They will learn the ins and outs of restaurant work & ordering. They will also have the opportunity to learn front of house basics including taking orders, setting up the space, and welcoming & taking care of guests.

The second position will be working in our short-term rental lofts and how to use time management for scheduling, booking, and appropriate customer service. This part of the position will be small, and the restaurant will be the primary focus.
