A community hospital in Kenansville, North Carolina is seeking a ** Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine or Med-Peds Physician** to join a high-quality ** Nocturnist Hospitalist program **. This role is ideal for physicians interested in night-based inpatient care within a collaborative hospitalist team.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Employment within a physician-led hospitalist program
• Hospital privileges at an 81-bed community hospital
• Established Med-Peds hospitalist team consisting of ** 6 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider**
• Flexible nocturnist scheduling options:

*   **Three (3) 14-hour shifts per week **, or 

*   **Six (6) 14-hour shifts every other week** ,

• Hospitalist service manages a 9-bed open ICU with ** tele-intensivist support**
• ICU responsibilities include:

*    Ventilator management 

*    Lumbar punctures 
*    Central line placement 

• Fully integrated electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Broad specialty support, including:

*    General Surgery 

*    Cardiology 
*    Otolaryngology 
*    Orthopedic Surgery 
*    Obstetrics & Gynecology 
*    Gastroenterology 
*    Nephrology 
*    Ophthalmology 
*    Sleep Medicine 
*    Speech Therapy 
*    Physical Therapy 

• Average nightly admission volume of approximately 6 patients
