An established adult primary care practice is seeking a ** Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician** to join its team. The practice focuses exclusively on adult patients and emphasizes high-quality primary and preventive care in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position
- **4.5-day workweek **, Monday–Friday
- Office hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Schedule flexibility available as needed
- No weekends or major holidays
- On-call responsibilities limited to phone calls only with low call volume
- Patient volume: 2 new patients or 3 established patients per hour
Scope of Practice
- Management of chronic conditions and acute illnesses
- Strong emphasis on preventive care
- Efficient, technology-supported workflow utilizing:
* Electronic medical record system
* Voice dictation software
Support & Collaboration
- Robust support team including receptionists, schedulers, medical assistants, nurses, billing, and administrative staff
- Collaborative relationships with a broad range of subspecialty physicians
- Access to multiple nearby hospitals for admissions and specialty services
Requirements
Candidate Qualifications
- Physicians seeking long-term practice opportunities with ties to the local area
- Board Certified physicians required; current residents must be Board Eligible and obtain certification prior to start date
