You will work closely with our Finance and Operations teams.
What the Interns will do:
- Help organise and file project documents — both paper and electronic.
- Enter information into our systems carefully and accurately.
- Help check that figures match between the old and new systems each day.
- Record test results and note any problems you spot.
- Help keep our list of issues up to date.
- Give general support to the project team.
KSA:
1. Knowledge:
- Fundamental accounting concepts — debits and credits, the general ledger, and reconciliations
- Awareness of data-confidentiality and data-protection principles
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office — Excel, Word and Outlook
- Basic understanding of financial products (loans, deposits, fixed deposits)
- Basic concepts of software / system testing — test cases, defects, UAT
- Principles of document and records management
2. Skills:
- Accurate, high-volume data entry
- Microsoft Excel — data entry, sorting and filtering, basic formulas
- Comparing and checking figures between two sources (basic reconciliation)
- Clear, consistent record-keeping and logging
- Organising and filing documents — hard and soft copy — with version control
- Written and verbal communication
- Time management and prioritisation
- Intermediate Excel — lookups and pivot tables
3. Abilities:
- High attention to detail and accuracy, including on repetitive tasks
- Ability to follow structured procedures and test scripts precisely
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive data responsibly
- Ability to identify, flag and escalate discrepancies appropriately
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced project environment
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
