Inventory & Procurement Specialist
AI Summary
Manages demand forecasting, purchase orders, and supplier relationships to keep global inventory flowing smoothly across channels and markets.
About this role
We're looking for a sharp, organised Inventory & Procurement Specialist to sit at the heart of our supply chain. You'll own demand forecasting, purchase order management, and supplier relationships — working closely with the Head of Inventory & Supply Growth to keep our global stock flowing smoothly across channels and markets.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You'll be the person who spots a stock risk before it becomes a problem, chases a supplier before a deadline slips, and keeps our inventory data clean and actionable.
What You'll Do
Demand Planning
- Build and maintain demand forecasts across SKUs and markets, using sales data, seasonality, and promotional calendars
- Monitor stock levels daily and flag risks — low stock, overstock, and slow movers — before they become expensive problems
- Work with the e-commerce and sales teams to factor in campaigns, launches, and market trends into forecasting
Purchasing & Order Management
- Raise and manage purchase orders from creation through to goods receipt
- Track lead times, shipment progress, and delivery confirmations — following up proactively when things slip
- Maintain accurate PO records in Odoo (or equivalent ERP) and ensure inventory data is always up to date
Supplier Relationships
- Serve as a day-to-day contact for key suppliers — building reliable working relationships
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and minimum order quantities where appropriate
- Identify and onboard backup suppliers to reduce single-source risk
Reporting & Process
- Produce regular inventory and purchasing reports for the Head of Inventory & Supply Growth
- Identify inefficiencies in current processes and suggest practical improvements
- Support audits, stock counts, and reconciliations as needed
Requirements
Must-haves:
- 2-3 years of experience in inventory management, demand planning, procurement, or supply chain
- Confident working with ERP systems — Odoo experience is a plus, but any modern ERP is fine
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills — you're comfortable building and maintaining forecasting models
- Detail-oriented with good instincts for when something looks off
- Clear communicator — comfortable chasing suppliers, flagging issues early, and writing concise reports
- Based in Malta and able to work from our office full-time
Nice to haves:
- Experience in consumer goods, FMCG, health, or e-commerce
- Exposure to Amazon FBA inventory management or multi-channel retail
- Experience working across multiple international markets
Right to Work — Strict Requirement
Applicants must have full, unrestricted eligibility to live and work in Malta without any visa, sponsorship, or work permit support. We are unable to provide or assist with any immigration or work permit applications.
We welcome applications from EU and Swiss nationals.
Benefits
- A key role in a fast-growing global brand sold in 60+ countries
- Direct exposure to senior leadership and real ownership of your function
- A collaborative, international team environment
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Office-based role in Malta with a dynamic, growing team
