Inventory Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise training Inventory employees and assist with planning, assigning, and directing work
  • Ensure Inventory teams understand and execute standard operating procedures, and have ongoing training based on SOP updates
  • Oversee scheduling for team members, and delegation of work throughout the day
  • Complete Employee Reviews based on company timelines and procedures
• Oversee inventory control based on company standards and state regulations:
  • Document and enter all inventory from production kitchen into METRC, or other state-specific inventory tracking system
  • Perform daily audits of physical inventory together with Inventory Leads
  • Ensure inventory vaults are organized, and inventory is properly labeled and stored
  • Oversee inventory levels and packaging planning
  • Log all transfers from inventory items into finished packaged sellable units.
• Fulfill orders, complete manifest documentation, facilitate the intake and outtake of product with sales representatives
  • Ensure orders are packed accurately and on time, and all checkpoints are met throughout the day
  • Ensure transfers are packed and loaded onto trucks properly
  • Oversee QC process for outbound orders
• Receive inventory
  • Document and enter all inventory from production kitchen into METRC and other tracking systems
  • Ensures clear labeling of all inventory
• Maintain a clean and organized inventory vault and ensure a safe working environment
• Batch Testing and sampling
  • Oversee creation of paperwork for compliance sampling, METRC (or other state-specific platform) conversions from production batches, and manifests to the laB
  • Scheduling testing pickups
  • Receiving test results and uploading to production server
• Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
  • Report any product or production equipment that appears damaged, spoiled, broken, unusable, or unsatisfactory in any way to supervisors
  • Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality of product
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Experience: At least 3 years of directly related experience and/or training in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably food or beverage; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency preferably in a fast-paced work environment
• Must have at least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Computer Skills: Microsoft suite (core applications), Google, Slack, experience in Jira and/or other management platforms and software preferred
• Language Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written
• Math Skills: Possess basic mathematical skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Travel Requirements: Occasional travel required between buildings and sites
• Ability to maintain/manage confidential information
• State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older
• ServSafe or Food Handler’s Card preferred
• Will be required to submit to a background check
• Must obtain all applicable state-required permits, licenses, and certifications
