IT Auditor – Banking – London

My client is a banking institution with a global presence, actively seeking a new IT Auditor to join their UK headquarters based in London. The role has materialised due to increasing demands on the IT audit function, which holds responsibilities across England and Scotland. The successful candidate will join a team of over ten colleagues, within a team that is looking to double its size over 2013.

If successful, your role would include:

• Performing internal audit reviews with a particular focus on evaluating the IT risk controls, and performing compliance audits across the network
• Have opportunity to lead audit engagements
• Provide specialist IT knowledge to other audit risk and compliance contemporaries within the business
• Ensuring all assignments meet the internal audit plan and comply with all in-house quality requirements

Qualifications

The successful candidate would have the following experience:

• Degree qualified in IT (or equivalent)
• 3-5 years of experience as an IT Auditor (either internally within a financial services institution or within one of the Big Four accountancy firms)
• Specifically seeking an individual with extensive programming skills in SQL and Access
• Ideally CISA qualified
• Ideally experience in ACL
