About this role
We're looking for an IT Operations Specialist to take ownership of our technology infrastructure and device ecosystem. This role combines hands-on technical support with operational responsibilities across hardware management, procurement, networking, and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company's hardware inventory, including laptops, mobile devices, chargers, and peripherals, keeping records accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate the procurement of new devices and equipment, evaluating vendors and ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Handle the international shipping of devices to remote employees and offices, managing customs documentation and logistics.
- Administer and monitor the company's network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, switches, routers), ensuring reliability and security.
- Provide technical support to team members for hardware and connectivity issues, escalating when necessary.
- Define and enforce IT asset management policies and procedures.
- Manage device lifecycle, from onboarding new hires to offboarding and device recovery.
- Work with external vendors and service providers as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role.
- Extensive hands-on experience with macOS as a primary operating system, with in-depth knowledge of the Apple device ecosystem.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts.
- Experience with hardware inventory management and asset tracking tools.
- Familiarity with Windows and mobile device management (MDM) platforms.
- Experience coordinating international shipments and handling customs/logistics documentation.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Familiarity with AI tools and a practical approach to incorporating them into day-to-day workflows for automation, documentation, and productivity.

- Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance basics.
