Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on and resourceful IT Support & Systems Administrator to own the day-to-day technology backbone of our offices. This role keeps every employee productive — from the laptop on their desk to the network they connect through to the tools they log into. The ideal candidate is technically capable across hardware, networking, and cloud administration, comfortable troubleshooting under pressure, and disciplined about keeping systems, access, and assets properly documented in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware & Device Management

  • Procure, provision, configure, and deploy laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals for new and existing team members

  • Maintain an accurate asset inventory across all Islamabad offices, tracking ownership, condition, and lifecycle

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware faults; coordinate repairs, replacements, and warranty claims with vendors

  • Manage device setup and secure wipe/recovery during onboarding and offboarding

Network & Infrastructure

  • Manage and monitor office network infrastructure, including routers, switches, access points, and ISP connections

  • Troubleshoot connectivity, Wi-Fi coverage, and performance issues across floors and offices

  • Coordinate with ISPs and service providers on bandwidth, failover, and uptime

  • Maintain network documentation, configurations, and basic security hygiene

Google Workspace & Slack Administration

  • Administer Google Workspace — user provisioning/deprovisioning, groups, organizational units, security policies, and MFA

  • Manage Slack workspace administration, including user access, channels, and integrations

  • Enforce access controls and ensure timely revocation of accounts during offboarding

  • Support email, calendar, and shared drive configuration and troubleshooting

Software & Subscription Management

  • Manage SaaS licenses and software subscriptions — provisioning, renewals, seat allocation, and cost tracking

  • Maintain a centralized record of tools, owners, billing cycles, and access levels

  • Coordinate access to internal systems and third-party platforms for new team members

IT Support & Helpdesk

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee IT issues and resolve them promptly

  • Support onboarding and offboarding logistics from an IT and access standpoint

  • Maintain clear documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides for common issues

  • Support cross-team technical and operational tasks when required

Security & Reliability

  • Implement and maintain endpoint security, backups, and basic access governance

  • Ensure systems, accounts, and devices follow company security and data-handling standards

  • Flag and escalate security risks proactively

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar hands-on technical role

  • Strong working knowledge of laptop/mobile hardware, troubleshooting, and device provisioning

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (routers, switches, access points, Wi-Fi, DNS, IP)

  • Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace and Slack

  • Experience managing software subscriptions and SaaS access

  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities reliably in a fast-paced environment

Good to Have

  • Experience with Ruijie, Cisco, Ubiquiti, or similar network hardware

  • Familiarity with MDM, endpoint security, or asset management tools

  • Exposure to IT asset and subscription tracking systems

  • Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Google Apps Script, Python) for IT workflows

  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
