We are looking for a Java Architect with 5-7 Years experience If you live, breath, and sleep Java and are always studying up on the latest technology you would be our dream candidate. We currently need to re-write and re-architect many of the systems we have built over the years, and are looking for someone who can take a critical eye towards what was developed and suggest the correct way to do it with today's technology.

Java Architect Jobs description

A Java architect has to define enterprise architecture in an effective manner in order to support the business strategy of the company. A Java architect is responsible for architecture and framework design of the project, researching, analyzing, designing and delivering solutions, performing design and code reviews on J2EEsoftware components, providing technical expertise in technical architecture which consist of network, security, operating systems, systems software, infrastructure engineering and internet as well as application architecture and data architecture. Also, it is the responsibility of a Java architect to identify and solve the existing architecture weakness.

A Java architect should be apt with all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements definition, specifications, development, test, product release, and maintenance engineering and should be thorough with Java, J2ee, Swings, Java Swings, Java Swings, Struts Framework, Struts Framework, Top link, Top Link, Web Logic, Web Logic, Oracle, Application Components, Database Interfaces, object oriented design methodology and application development in java and J2EE 1.4 using UML, including servlets, JSP, EJB 2.0, JMS, JDBC, JTA, JNDI, JMX and JAAS.
