● 5+ years of engineering experience in JVM based secure web applications

● Expert level coding skills in front & back-end Java

● Java EE and/or JVM based secure web applications, LDAP

● Experience in designing scalable web services.

● Strong foundational knowledge and experience with JMS

● Experience in deploying J2EE applications with any of the following IBM WebSphere7.0 or later

● Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision

● Excellent team player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment

● Creative, resourceful and innovative problem solver

● Mentor and coach other team members

● Experience with an IDE such as Eclipse, RAD or WDSC

● Great communication skills, including active listening and comprehending system requirements

Qualifications

● Knowledge of continuous integration and release management tools

● Good knowledge of SCM tools including Git, subversion, JIRA

● Familiar with SOA, DB2, SQL, JDBC, (IBM development).

● Spring Framework, Hibernate, Core Java

● HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, Ajax, JQuery, JSP, JSTL, Tiles2

● Proficiency in working in OS400/Unix/Linux environment

● Knowledge of scripting languages

● Self-taught and self-teaching, with a demonstrated aptitude for acquiring knowledge and skill
