A private family in Tampa is seeking a full-time Private Chef with an emphasis on healthy, local, and clean eating. The household includes a husband who follows a plant-based diet, so strong plant-based cooking experience is required alongside the ability to prepare well balanced meals for the whole family. A nutritionist certification is preferred but not necessary.

The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, approximately 10:30am to 6:30pm, covering lunch at 12:30pm and dinner at 5:00pm daily, with flexibility for the chef to adjust timing as needed to best serve the family's eating schedule.

Family Composition and Dietary Needs

• Husband: plant-based diet

• Wife: standard diet

• Two toddlers: homemade favorites such as nuggets, fish sticks, and mac and cheese

• One infant: early eater, whole foods and soft finger foods such as steamed vegetables, fritters, and fruits, generally adjusted from the family's own meals

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily lunch and dinner for the family, Tuesday through Saturday

• Prepare plant-based meals for the husband alongside standard meals for the rest of the family

• Create healthy, well-balanced meals emphasizing local and clean eating

• Prepare homemade, kid friendly meals for the two toddlers

• Prepare soft, whole food finger foods for the infant, adapting family meals as needed

• Plan and adjust meal timing and menus based on the family's preferences and schedule

• Source high quality, local ingredients

Qualifications

• Strong experience with plant based and healthy, clean cooking

• Comfortable preparing separate meals to suit different dietary needs within one household

• Experience cooking for young children, including toddlers and infants

• Nutritionist certification preferred, but not required

• Adaptable and flexible with scheduling and menu planning
