This schedule requires staff to be available Wednesday through Sunday between 8:00a and 5:00p. Scheduled hours will vary within this timeframe, with a guaranteed 30 hours per week.

Job Summary:

Job Coaches will provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within integrated community employment and may also assist with pre-employment skill development programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Eligibility for Employment

• Ability to passan initialcriminal history check from the Department of Human Services Criminal Records Unit and recheck every 2years.

• Be a citizen of the United States or legally able to work in the United States

• Must be at least eighteen years old and hold a current driving license, insurance, anda good drivingrecord.

• Ability to complete required training and annual training thereafter.

• The ability tomaintainregular attendance and to perform tasks outlined in this description (with or withouta reasonableaccommodation) is an essential function of this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Human Servicesor related field preferred.

• Prior experience is notrequiredbut preferred.

• Experience working with and/or supporting individuals with employment or vocational-relatedwork.

• Knowledge ofthe VocationalRehabilitation and Developmental Disability SupportedEmployment systems and Individual Support Plans (ISPs).

• Experience working in a variety ofsettings preferred.
