- Perform mechanical design analysis, simulation, and calculations
- Evaluate system failure modes, create and execute validation plans
- Test on the bench and in the ocean
- Design and validate production and test equipment
- Find, communicate with, and build relationships with new suppliers
Qualifications
- Designed and built a bunch of interesting things so far, showing deep expertise with 3D modeling
- Deep, insatiable impulse to understand and leverage that understanding to create new things
- Innate desire to collaborate, learn, and adapt
- Strong and growing foundation of engineering first principles

Salary Range:
