About the Programme
The UKRAINE2EU Integration Support Programme for Ukraine is implemented in Ukraine by the Central Project Management Agency (CPVA), Lithuania. The overall objective of Ukraine2EU is to support Ukraine’s progressive alignment with the EU acquis and its overall EU integration efforts toward future EU membership. The initiative aims to build strong, efficient state mechanisms for managing Ukraine's EU accession process and implementing related reforms.
Role Overview
The Junior Communication Expert plays an essential role in supporting communications regarding Ukraine’s EU accession process. The selected expert will work full-time, be based in Kyiv, and be seconded to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.
Key responsibilities
● Supporting daily communications activities of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.
● Drafting and preparing social media content, news items, press releases, talking points, and briefing materials.
● Assisting with media monitoring, media relations and event communications.
● Assisting in preparation and distribution of the weekly EU Integration Digest.
● Assisting in maintaining the EU Integration Portal and content coordination.
● Providing technical support during high-level meetings, international events, and official visits.
● Assisting in implementation of communication campaigns related to Ukraine’s EU accession process.
Requirements
● University degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
● Proficiency in Ukrainian and English (both written and spoken).
● Strong writing skills and the ability to manage many daily written outputs.
The knowledge of Ukraine’s EU integration process, state reforms, and EU institutional operations will be an asset.
Participation in thematic EU programmes or/and internships will be an advantage.
What we offer
Contract type | Service contract for 12 months with extension possibility until the end of the Programme.
