We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Junior Electrician to join our team in the beautiful Villa Haven, Maldives. As a Junior Electrician, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties across the island.

• Assist senior electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices and hand tools
• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
• Collaborate with team members and other trades on construction and renovation projects

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
• Familiarity with electrical tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Basic math skills for calculating voltage, current, and resistance
• Safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to following proper procedures
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Vocational training in electrical systems preferred
• Apprenticeship or internship experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a tropical climate and adapt to island living conditions
