Junior Merchandiser with experience in an export house to support the end-to-end merchandising process, from product development and sampling to production and final shipment.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with international buyers, export orders, vendors, sampling, production follow-ups, and delivery timelines. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple styles/orders simultaneously are essential.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

-Handle day-to-day merchandising activities for export orders and international buyers.
-Coordinate with buyers/design teams on product development, samples, comments, approvals, and revisions.
-Maintain tech packs, order sheets, costing sheets, T&A calendars, and production trackers.
-Coordinate with factories/vendors for sampling, fabric, trims, accessories, and production.
-Visit and work from different factories/production units across Delhi NCR as required.
-Follow up closely on sample approvals and production timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
-Monitor T&A calendars and proactively flag any delays or production issues.
-Assist in costing, quotations, and price negotiations with vendors.
-Coordinate with the production and quality teams to ensure products meet buyer requirements and brand standards.
-Track bulk production, inspections, packing, and shipment readiness.
-Maintain accurate records of POs, samples, approvals, production status, and shipments.
Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure smooth order execution.
-Assist senior merchandisers with buyer communication and order management.

Required Experience & Skills
-2–5 years of experience in merchandising with an export house is mandatory.
-Experience handling international buyers/export orders is strongly preferred.
-Good understanding of garment/product development, sampling, costing, and production processes.
-Familiarity with T&A calendars and export merchandising procedures.
-Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
Good command of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
-Degree/diploma in Fashion, Apparel, Textile, Merchandising, or a related field preferred.
