About the role

The Junior Pre-Litigation Attorney role is a structured, mentorship heavy training role designed for newly barred or 0- 2 year attorneys who want genuine work-life balance while learning personal-injury pre-litigation in a supportive team environment. This role will learn to assume full command of each case from the moment of acceptance, directing a meticulous intake process, leading comprehensive liability and damages investigations, curating optimal medical treatment pathways, crafting authoritative high value policy-limit demand packages, and executing sophisticated negotiations with insurance adjusters to extract maximum pre-suit recoveries and strategically position unresolved claims for litigation dominance.

What you'll do

• Reviewnew-client sign-ups.

• Directdetailed liability anddamagesinvestigationsto includeother commercial evidentiary investigationsbyutilizingfirmtemplates.

• Observe andmonitormedical treatment plansand updatedcase notes based oncontact with providers and clients.

• Drafthigh valuepolicy-limitand demands with medical chronologies,associatedrecords, and visual aidsbased on firm protocols.

• Learn to negotiate directly with insurance adjusterstosecure top-dollar settlements or force litigation when offers are inadequate.

• Transition files to litigationteamwith comprehensive turnover memos and trial-ready packets.

• Supervise and delegate daily to assignedsupport staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn effectivenegotiation skills.

• Solidwriting abilityfordemand packages.

• Empathy and bilingual (Spanish/English) fluency to connect instantly with South Texas clients.

• Extreme organization to juggle active files without dropping deadlines.

• ProficiencywithSalesforce,Litify, or similar PIcase-managementsoftware.

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Active membershipinthe Texas Bar.
