JV Boys Basketball Coach

Maranatha Christian Academy is located in Brooklyn Park, MN, and is seeking aJV Boys Basketball Coachto join our successful and growing basketball program. The JV Coach will work closely with our Head Coach to develop student-athletes both on the court and in their faith. At Maranatha, we believe athletics are about more than wins and losses. Our coaches have the opportunity to build relationships, develop character, and help students grow in their faith while competing at a high level.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the JV boys' basketball team.
• Develop players in basketball fundamentals, skills, and team concepts.
• Work closely with the Head Coach to support the overall vision and direction of the program.
• Help prepare players for future roles within the varsity program.
• Build a positive, competitive, and Christ-centered team culture.
• Serve as a Christian role model and mentor for student-athletes.
• Communicate positively and professionally with players, parents, coaches, and athletic administration.
• Attend all practices, games, and required team activities.

• Has basketball coaching experience and a strong understanding of player development.

• Works well within an established coaching staff and program.
