Project Zero Enterprises is seeking a highly motivated, strategic Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead off-premise chain sales across key regional and national call points. This role will be responsible for building and executing customer-specific strategies that drive distribution, volume, and share growth within their region calling on national and regional chain accounts.

The KAM will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned off-premise retail partners, working cross-functionally and in close collaboration with Regional Distributor Managers and distributor key account leads to ensure strong execution. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in beer sales, launching new brands, and navigating distributor networks, along with a passion for building disruptive, category-shaping brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute annual business plans for assigned regional off-premises accounts to achieve volume, distribution, and revenue goals.
  • Alignment with our Distributor partners chain teams as our main point of contact.
  • Lead customer meetings, category reviews, and joint business planning with key buyers.
  • Secure new product placements, promotional programming, and incremental displays to drive brand visibility and performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Trade Marketing, Finance, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain to ensure flawless execution and service levels.
  • Analyze market trends, syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI), and account-specific performance to identify opportunities and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Manage promotional budgets and pricing strategies within account guidelines and company standards.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at both the customer and distributor level.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and manage inventory levels to avoid out-of-stock or overages.
  • Monitor compliance with agreed-upon retail programs and ensure excellence in execution.
  • Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and customer summits.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in chain sales, preferably with beer sales experience and strong beer buyer relationships
  • Proven success in launching new products
  • Deep understanding of retail execution strategies and beer distributor networks
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Nielsen/IRI/Category Management tools
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, think strategically, and execute tactically.
  • Ability to travel frequently (50%+)
