Compensation: $17.40 per hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. This is an ideal position for a student or retired person looking for a part time position for the summer!

As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing and food preparation areas, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans promptly and efficiently

• Ensure that all dishes are cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, including emptying trash bins and cleaning surfaces

• Assist with kitchen cleaning and closing tasks as needed, including sweeping and mopping floors

• Support kitchen staff with food preparation and other tasks during busy periods

• Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a prep cook/dishwasher or in a similar role preferred, but not required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects

• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed

• To prepare and handle food items, FoodSafe Level 1 is required
