Kitchen, Utility and Laundry Technician | AYANA Midplaza JAKARTA

The Engineering Technician – Plant / Utility / Kitchen & Laundry is responsible for performing operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of utility plant systems as well as kitchen and laundry equipment to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation supporting hotel engineering operations, food production, and housekeeping services.

Requirements

• Min. Vocational High School (SMK) majoring in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related technical field. A diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering will be an advantage
• Good spoken English is preferred, and the ability to understand technical manuals.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in engineering or building maintenance operations.
• Experience in hotel engineering operations, central plant systems, kitchen equipment, or laundry equipment maintenance is preferred.
• Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel property is an advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge of utility plant systems including chillers, boilers, pumps, compressors, and water treatment systems.
• Good understanding of kitchen equipment and laundry equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of steam systems, gas systems, and hot water distribution systems.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability management.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills with operational departments.
• Professional work attitude and service-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of CMMS systems and engineering reporting systems.
• Knowledge of building safety regulations, fire safety standards, and equipment safety procedures.
