SafeBreach's R&D org runs on lab environments and this role owns them. As our Lab Manager, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with Development, Product, QA, Automation, Research, and DevOps to design and deliver the topologies our product is built and tested on. You'll translate sprint requirements into functional lab environments, manage their lifecycle, and keep the whole operation running efficiently.
π The Impact You Will Have
- Collect lab requirements from R&D stakeholders and deliver functional lab topologies according to sprint plans (agile scrum methodology)
- Spin up compute and network resources in AWS and ESXi and configure them
- Setup Active Directory domains, organizational units, group policies and adjust them to varying scenarios
- Deploy workstation and server machines in a variety of OSs
- Setup routing and access policies between the various hosts
- Install and configure different EDRs (S1, MDE, Cortex, CrowdStrike, TrendMicro and more)
- Deploy different types of applications like credentials managers (LastPass, 1Password etc)
- Deploy firewalls and implement network segmentation controls between the different subnets in each lab
- Adjust the lab environments to enable testing of new product features sprint by sprint
- Manage the lifecycle of the provisioned lab environments and keep track of cost
𧬠What Sets You Apart
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing labs, IT, DevOps, or a similar role
- Proficient in server installation and configuration, focusing on Windows (similar with Windows Admin Manager) and then Linux environments
- Proficiency in AWS networking infrastructure (Mainly VPC, Subnets, Transit Gateways, AWS-VPN)

- Experience with security technologies
- ESXi (VMware)
- Experience with network equipment (e.g., routers, switches) and security applications
