Navantia UK is a UK incorporated company, subsidiary of Spanish Navantia, created to work with UK industrial partners in shipbuilding, defence and in offshore wind energy. With a history that goes back more than 300 hundred years, Navantia is a world reference in the design, building, integration and life cycle support of state-of-the-art war ships for the Spanish Navy and international customers and has extensive experience in ToT programmes.

The Role:

• Perform various manual tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials or products within the facility.
• Firewatch duties
• Operate basic machinery and equipment following safety protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets and goals.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical/manual work, including lifting, carrying, moving, and handling materials safely.
• Strong commitment to health and safety procedures and ability to follow site rules at all times.
• Ability to carry out Firewatch duties responsibly and remain attentive for extended periods.
• Experience operating or willingness to learn to operate basic machinery and equipment safely.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
