Landscape Construction Estimator- Senior at Heritage Landscapes

Serving the Bay area including Marin, Sonoma, Napa and San Francisco counties, we are dedicated to client relations and environmental stewardship.

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced, driven Landscape Construction Estimator- Senior that is comfortable in a fast paced, growing company. Our Landscape Construction Estimator- Senior will be responsible for ensuring an accurate and timely estimating process for the purpose of winning competitive and profitable landscape installation/construction projects. They streamline and update the estimating software including the items catalog, kit building, pricing, templates and proposal / contract layouts. We offer an annual salary of $125,000, as well as a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, sick leave, 401(k), profit sharing and an unlimited paid time off plan.

Requirements for our Landscape Construction Estimator- Senior:

• Prior experience as an Estimator for a residential Landscape Construction firm.
• Experience with Aspire or a similar software.
• Experience with take-off software and doing digital/electronic takeoffs.
• Possess willingness to learn new skills.
• Positive, productive and motivated attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team but also independently.
• Ability to represent the Company in a courteous and professional manner.
• Proficient in oral, written and digital communications.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to plan, lead and complete daily work tasks in an organized and efficient manner.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications to do take-offs and prepare bids for landscape installation work.
• Flexibility with respect to assigned tasks due to changing schedules, deadlines and priorities.
• Valid California driver’s license and an insurable driving record.

Key responsibilities for our Landscape Construction Estimator- Senior include:

• Perform site visits and takeoffs and build estimates for new potential projects as assigned swiftly and accurately.
• Ensure that vendor pricing is competitive and accurate.
• Evaluate, develop and utilize company production rates.
• Ensure that bids and markups are competitively priced while meeting or exceeding company profitability goals.
• Maintain and update estimating software databases on a regular basis.
• Prepare project proposals and formal contracts for review and submittal.
• Utilize Aspire software for estimating opportunities.
• Review job cost and profit reports with the Department and make adjustments to the estimating process as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
