About this role
To support the legal department in handling day to day legal activities related to social insurance, taxation, and company registration. Requirements
1. Social Insurance:
- Assist in registering new employees with the social insurance authority in coordination with the HR department.

2. Tax Compliance:
- Collect and organize supporting documents related to tax filings.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT, income tax, declarations in coordination with the finance department.
- Archive all official correspondence and tax-related documents properly.
3. Company Registration and Corporate Documentation:
- Prepare draft versions of company incorporation documents and amendments under supervision.
- Follow up on company registration, commercial registration renewals, and changes through official government portals.
- Support legal updates related to shareholder changes, board member appointments, and capital increases.
4. General Legal Support:
- Maintain and update legal files (both electronic and hard copies).
- Draft basic legal correspondence and internal memos.
- Contribute to the preparation of periodic legal reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Basic understanding of labor law, tax law, and company law in Iraq.
- Strong research and documentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and governmental e-portals.
