Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

 

 

• • Is accountable for the Delivery of Electrical Harness Integration outputs, in compliance with the Engineering Quality Cost and Delivery commitments.
  • Electrical harness routing in PRO E, CREO/CATIA V5 based on the schematic.
  • Functional schematic design in EBASE\ CREO schematic tool (or any equivalent tool) for the WABTEC trains systems (Door, HVAC, Brakes etc.)
  • Harness bundle creation, Volumetric space analysis, Dynamic loop, segregation of harnesses based on the EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) classification.
  • Sheet metal brackets design and mounting definition for harness routing.
  • Selection of harness 3D routing components (Gland, connector, mounting clamps, plastic cable ducts, conduit, mounting clips, etc.)
  • Selection of electrical components for train systems (MCB, Contactor, Relay, Connectors etc.)
  • Mounting of Electrical equipment’s in train systems (System controllers PLC, DC-DC converter, Voltage Modulator, etc.)
  • Packaging of electrical control components in train systems (Contactor, MCB, Relay, Terminal block etc.)
  • Creation of 3D flattening drawings for harness assembly.
  • Creation of 2D Wiring Harness drawing, supporting CFT for packaging, accessing, troubleshooting and service.

Monitors, controls, and consolidates her/his work package. As such:

• • Organizes and leads the work package reviews for the project in charge.
  • Manages Risk, Assessment and Mitigation Plan,

Candidate Requirements

Educational Requirements: B. Tech Electrical Engineering

Experience
 

• 8 + Years of relevant industrial experience in Harness design and routing, functional schematic design and sheet metal design
• Good hand on experience on E-base/CREO Electrical schematics.
• Good Knowledge in developing concepts in PRO E CREO\CATIA V5 for parts, different subsystem, Mountings.
