ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary for Hollywood Tunica and 1st Jackpot:

• Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service and aesthetic standards.

• Support the Facilities Engineering team in leading the maintenance and repair of all guest rooms, public space, back of house and exterior facilities at both Hollywood and 1st Jackpot casinos. Includes; though not limited to:

• Repairs and installation of wall covering, flooring, painting, woodwork and drywall.

• Complete projects such as office build outs, room renovation, Etc.

• Upkeep of property decorations and cosmetics

• Maintains a neat, clean, and organized work area in the Facilities Engineering Shop.

• Prepares and inspects daily work forms.

• Routinely inspects all lighting throughout the property, identifying potential problems, and resolving same.

• Responds to maintenance requests and house calls.

• Maintains pool facilities as assigned.

• Ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.

• Follows Safety and Security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.

Maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all rules, regulations, and controls of the company.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure using
• whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to establish and maintain
• an effective working relationship with management, staff, co-workers, and guests. Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability and knowledge to send out professional emails. Good spelling and grammar skills.
