Job Summary

The Lead Pharmacy Technician provides both operational and team leadership support within a high-volume pharmacy services environment. This role serves as a key resource for pharmacy technician staff, helping ensure quality performance, workflow efficiency, and exceptional service while supporting daily pharmacy operations.

Required Qualifications

• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience
• Previous leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or team lead experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with pharmacy systems and computer-based applications
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting team performance
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting mail-order, specialty, managed care, or high-volume pharmacy operations
• Experience with remote workforce environments
• Prior involvement in quality assurance, performance monitoring, or process improvement initiatives
