• Aids in the organizing, directing and controlling of the activities of the Sterile Processing Department in conjunction with the Sterile Processing Department Manager.
• Provides constant and consistent supervision while on duty.
• Assists the Sterile Processing Department Manager in helping to recruit, select, orient, train, discipline, and evaluate employees as necessary.
• Responsible to practice in a professional manner the necessary leadership in representing, promulgating and enforcing the standards of quality assurance, infection control, JCAHO and other regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Certification Required
• Sterile Processing Department or related experience of at least once year is necessary.
• Supervisory experience in the healthcare field is favored.
• High school diploma is mandatory

Additional Information

Shift: Day shift with some weekends

Pay rate: TBD

Contract: 3 months +
