The Opportunity
Nysonian Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to join our legal company. The successful candidate will assist in providing legal support for the company’s day-to-day operations and assist in ensuring compliance with all relevant legal regulations. This role requires a thorough understanding of US laws and prior experience working with US-based companies.

What You'll Own

• Provide administrative and legal support to the company's US legal concerns.
• Assist with the preparation, filing, and management of legal documents, contracts, and reports based on US laws.
• Conduct legal research on US laws, regulations, and industry practices.
• Draft and proofread legal documents such as contracts, memos, and other correspondence based on US law.
• Manage and organize legal records, case files, and other confidential materials.
• Track legal timelines, deadlines, and compliance obligations for various projects.
• Coordinate communication between legal teams, external law firms, and internal departments.
• Assist with corporate governance matters, including meeting minutes and board resolutions.
• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes and legal trends in the US and in Pakistan.
• Handle other legal administrative tasks as required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a legal Counsel or in a legal administrative role within a US-based company.
• Strong knowledge of US laws, regulations, and legal systems.
• Experience working with contracts, litigation, compliance, and corporate governance.
• Proficiency in legal research and case management tools.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong English (verbal and written) communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• AI knowledge and expertise is a plus.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
