About this role

About Qevlar

Qevlar is a B2B SaaS scale-up on a mission to boost the productivity of cybersecurity teams with Artificial Intelligence. We build an AI platform that transitions Security Operations Centers from reactive to proactive units through autonomous security alert investigations.

In just three years, we have:

  • Raised a total of $44m in series-A & seed rounds from EQT Ventures, Forgepoint Capital and Partech

  • Deployed our solution with major Enterprises such as Sodexo and GlobalConnect, and leading MSSPs like Orange Cyberdefense

  • Expanded to the US market with a growing North American presence

  • Ended 2025 with a strong multi-million dollar ARR and ambitious goals for 2026

The Role

We’re looking for a Legal Counsel with a strong focus on commercial law, who has experience operating in-house within a B2B SaaS company, ideally at startup or scale-up stage.

This is a highly operational role, working closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership to support our go-to-market efforts and enable the business to move fast while managing risk.

You will play a key role in structuring, negotiating, and scaling our commercial contracts and legal processes as the company grows.

What You Will Do

  • Own commercial contracts end-to-end
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements (MSAs, DPAs, SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, etc.)

  • Partner closely with Sales and Customer teams
Support deal cycles, unblock negotiations, and help structure contracts that balance speed and risk

  • Enable go-to-market activities
Work on pricing structures, terms, and legal frameworks that support our commercial strategy

  • Build scalable legal processes
Create templates, playbooks, and guidelines to increase autonomy across the business

  • Manage risk pragmatically
Provide clear, business-oriented advice (not theoretical legal opinions)

  • Support broader legal topics (as needed)
Data protection, compliance, and general corporate matters

Who You Are

  • at least 4+ years of experience in-house in a B2B SaaS company in cybersecurity, data or AI-based product

  • Strong background in commercial law and contract negotiation

  • Exposure to international contracts (US/EU)

  • Experience working closely with Sales / GTM teams

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

  • Pragmatic mindset: you know how to balance risk and speed

  • Strong communication skills, able to explain legal concepts simply

  • Fluent in French and English

Why Join Us
