• You will develop and maintain collaborative relationships with various internal teams to fully understand the challenges, promote a solutions-oriented approach, and contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives;
• You will handle the necessary legal follow-up for cases under your responsibility, coordinating key steps and ensuring thorough documentation;
• You will participate in training and raising awareness among internal teams regarding the legal risks and best practices relevant to their activities;
• You will contribute to the continuous improvement of contract templates, internal legal processes, and departmental tools; and
• You will demonstrate autonomy, sound judgment, and leadership in managing your cases, while knowing when to seek support from your manager as needed.

 

As a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, including VOSKER’s senior management, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams:

• You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts and other legal documents, particularly in the areas of sales, marketing, distribution, and procurement;
• You will support internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, etc.) in their projects by providing pragmatic legal advice tailored to business realities;
• You will conduct in-depth legal research, followed by well-structured legal recommendations or opinions on both contractual and regulatory issues;
• You will help ensure compliance with applicable data protection requirements, particularly in the context of marketing activities, consent management, and international initiatives;
• You will actively participate in growth projects (e.g., new markets, partners, or distribution channels) by providing legal support for cross-functional projects;

 

Qualifications

• Member of the Quebec Bar
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in commercial law and contract negotiation
• Practical experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts (sales, marketing, distribution, services, etc.)
• Good understanding of issues related to personal data protection, particularly in digital or marketing contexts
• Excellent ability to understand business challenges and propose tailored legal solutions
• Strong aptitude for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
• Organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail in managing multiple cases
• An approach focused on finding practical solutions and partnering with internal teams
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts in layman’s terms and to support colleagues in managing risks
• A proactive, curious, and innovation-oriented attitude
• Good judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to make decisions quickly
• Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written (frequent contact with parties outside Quebec)
• Creativity and the ability to propose legal solutions that support the company’s growth
• Motivation and passion for excellence, innovation, and contributing to the organization’s success
