About the opportunity

Our Banking and Financial Services team is looking for an experienced Legal Executive to join our Tāmaki Makaurau office to work alongside our experienced partners and solicitors to support our bank and non-bank clients in their lending activities.

You will work with key clients on property finance matters, including preparing or checking transaction documents, coordinating pre-drawdown requirements, liaising with borrower's solicitors, and coordinating input from others in the team.

You’ll have a high level of autonomy, with direct client contact and the opportunity to take ownership of your work. You will make a valued contribution to the smooth delivery of matters and the continued growth of the practice.

About you

You’ll be a qualified Legal Executive with a sound grounding in property finance or an adjacent area, such as residential conveyancing.

You’ll be organised, accurate and confident communicating with clients and other parties. You will be confident managing your responsibilities, progressing matters efficiently and building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues, while recognising when to seek guidance from supervising lawyers.
