Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD, PhD)

New York, New YorkHybrid

AI Summary

A licensed clinical psychologist provides psychotherapy and assessment for adults in person and via telehealth, carrying a steady caseload with weekly case consultation in a hybrid, clinician-led group practice.

About this role

Thriving Center of Psychology is hiring full-time, salaried Licensed Clinical Psychologists (PsyD or PhD) on a hybrid schedule, splitting the week between our Manhattan offices and remote work. We welcome both experienced practitioners and early-career psychologists. This is a W2 role with benefits, a steady caseload we build with you, and a real clinical community.

You must already hold an active, clear, independent New York license as a Psychologist (PsyD or PhD). Candidates who are still working toward licensure or hold only a limited permit are not yet eligible.

About Thriving Center of Psychology:

We are a clinician-led group practice founded by psychologists, with offices in Midtown and Soho. We built the practice we wanted to work in: real colleagues, real consultation, and the support to do excellent clinical work without carrying the business of a practice on your own.

Why Psychologists choose Thriving for full-time, W2 roles:

Most therapist jobs today are 1099 contracts on telehealth platforms without community and you work largely alone. We are built the other way.

  • Salaried W2 role with benefits: not per-session contractor pay. You are an employee, with a real salary and real benefits.

  • Genuine clinical community: with required weekly case consultations alongside colleagues who care about the work.

  • Steady caseload we help build: so you spend your time with clients, not marketing yourself to find them.

  • Work that lasts: a balanced, sustainable caseload that protects your time and the quality of your care.

  • Hybrid, the best of both: split your week between our Manhattan offices and home, so you get real colleagues and real flexibility.

  • Onboarding that sets you up: professional headshots, a polished clinical profile, a feature on our website, and structured check-ins through your first weeks.

  • What you will do:

  • Provide psychotherapy, and assessment where relevant, to adults across a range of presenting concerns, in person and by telehealth.

  • Use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and Gottman.

  • Carry a sustainable caseload with the support of weekly case consultation.

  • Maintain timely, high-quality clinical documentation.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatrists, and therapists.

  • What we offer:

  • A salary of $100,000 to $125,000 per year, plus a 5% performance bonus.

  • Full benefits: health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

  • A yearly CEU stipend, plus gym and fitness reimbursement.

  • Minimal paperwork: no insurance billing and no collections to chase.

  • Required weekly group case consultation plus one-on-one clinical support.

  • Standout onboarding and a real clinical community.

  • Two Manhattan offices, in Midtown and Soho, with a hybrid schedule.

  • Qualifications:

  • An active, clear, independent New York license as a Psychologist.

  • A doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD).

  • Must be able to work a 40 hour work week, with a goal of seeing 27 clients per week.

  • Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, Gottman, and others).

  • A collaborative approach and a commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care.

  • Experienced and early-career psychologists are both welcome to apply.
