About this role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Complete clinical intake assessment for new clients
  • Determine appropriate level of care recommendations and internal referrals to Emerald services as needed
  • Maintain complete and accurate client records per regulations
  • Provides clinical coverage when needed, including but not limited to treatment planning, group and individual counseling
  • Participates in quality assurance related to the intake and assessment process
  • Ensure services provided are necessary and evidence-based, and within the ethical and legal scope of practice
  • Coordinate care with other service providers, as appropriate
  • Participate in case consultation as indicated
  • Demonstrates an independent work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy, tact and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal, written and/or interpersonal communication skills.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an active Kentucky state license/s in one of the following credentials:

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor – LMHC, LCMHC
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker – LCSW, LICSW, CSW
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - LMFT
  • Licensed Professional Counselor – LPC, LPCC, LCPC
  • Licensed Mental Health Professional - LMHP, or
  • Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) in Kentucky
  • Previous experience in clinical counseling or social work setting preferred
