We’re proud to be partnering with Unison Contracting, an organisation that plays a vital role in powering communities across the North Island. Due to continued growth and new contracts that have been secured, they are looking to add a number of skilled Line Mechanics to their team.

What you’ll be doing
· Installing overhead and underground powerlines
· Responding to faults and outages across the network
· Carrying out maintenance and repair work
· Testing lines and fault finding
· Supporting the construction of new network infrastructure
· Participating in an on-call faults roster where required
What you’ll bring
· A current EWRB licence (or one in progress)
· A Level 4 NZQA qualification (or equivalent) as a fully qualified Line Mechanic
· Strong knowledge of electrical practices and network safety standards
· The ability to work independently while also being a strong team contributor
· Clear communication skills and a community-focused mindset
· A calm approach and the ability to think clearly under pressure
· Physical fitness and a head for heights
