Litigation Associate

The Woodbury, Long Island office of Kaufman Dolowich, a full-service National Law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas, is actively seeking an attorney to join our growing Litigation/Insurance Coverage practice group.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners in a collaborative environment. Our attorneys receive meaningful hands-on experience, direct client interaction, and strong mentorship. Please submit a writing sample along with your resume.

Responsibilities

• Litigate cases as part of team, including conducting court appearances, depositions, and motion practice
• Draft legal opinions, reservations of rights and disclaimers
• Communicate directly with clients, providing proactive timely updates, legal insights, and strategic guidance throughout the case lifecycle

Qualifications

• 1+ years of litigation and/or insurance coverage experience
• JD degree with excellent academic credentials
• Admission to the New York State Bar
• Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Base Salary Range: $110,000-$150,000
