Job Summary and key responsibilities

An exciting opportunity to join the growing LRG Living Markets team. This role is responsible for managing refurbishment projects on behalf of clients across a diverse residential property portfolio, ensuring works are delivered to specification, within budget, and to agreed timescales. The successful candidate will also support Property Managers in delivering larger scale home improvement and asset enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients to ensure all refurbishment requirements are clearly understood, managed effectively, and completed within agreed timescales.

• Attend properties to assess refurbishment requirements, prepare specifications, and approve proposed works.

• Obtain and evaluate contractor quotations in line with the approved specification.

• Ensure all quotations are competitive, accurately scoped, and assessed on a like-for-like basis.

• Liaise with Clients and Client Success Managers (CSMs) to obtain approval and instruction for recommended works.

• Deliver against agreed KPI and service performance targets.

• Conduct post-completion inspections to ensure works have been completed to the required quality and specification.

• Maintain regular communication with Client Success Managers and local branches, ensuring key stakeholders are informed when properties are ready for remarketing.

• Manage associated administrative activities, including processing invoices, chasing outstanding quotations, monitoring work orders, and ensuring timely completion of refurbishment projects.

• Maintain accurate records of refurbishment progress, contractor performance, and project expenditure.

• Ability to manage multiple refurbishment projects simultaneously.

• Commercial awareness with the ability to assess value for money and contractor performance.

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

• Proficient in relevant property management and administration systems.

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in the lettings industry is essential – minimum of 3 years’ industry experience.

• Leadership and managing through people skills.

• RICS/ARLA qualifications are preferred or a requirement to undertake for role
