Logistic Trainee

Job Summary:**

The Logistic Trainee will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain and logistics operations within a global automotive lighting manufacturer. This role provides an opportunity to learn fundamental logistics processes, contribute to operational efficiency, and develop professional skills in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies.
* Support inbound and outbound logistics activities, such as coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, and liaising with freight forwarders.
* Learn and apply internal logistics software and systems for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
* Participate in the optimization of warehouse layout and material flow processes.
* Help monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, purchasing) to ensure smooth material supply.
* Assist in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
* Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and project status.
* Adhere to all company safety and quality standards and procedures.

Job Qualifications:**

* Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
* Basic understanding of supply chain principles is a plus.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
