Lubricants Engineer

Optimal on behalf of its client a dynamic industrial lubricants distributor, is seeking to recruit a Lubricants Engineer based in Athens.

Job Summary

The Lubricants Engineer will perform a variety of technical support work. This work involves providing technical advice/support for existing business and for preparation of technical proposals and reports related to new business. It also requires onsite support and plant audits as well as reactive technical troubleshooting of day-to-day cases.

Requirements

• Submit benefit proposals and reports
• Execute account support
• Work closely with the sales team to expand the customer base
• Make product recommendations and Lube charting
• Plant audit
• Support used oil analysis program and interpret data
• Technical troubleshooting
• Train staff for technical issues based in company’s Learning Management System
• Conduct customer seminars
• Run proof of performance tests and trials
• Interact with field engineers of the parent organization

What we are looking for

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical engineering or Merchant Marine
• Must have 2-3 years of Technical and maintenance background
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Extensive skills in analyzing, presenting and discussing different solutions with the customers
• Good at understanding customer needs and proposing the relevant solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Able to clearly communicate the product value proposition to the customers
• Desirable customer and local market knowledge
