• Administer vaccine
• Set up individual sites.
• Register clients.
• Obtain informed consent; Complete documentation.
• Dispose of bio-hazardous waste.
• Knowledge of Universal Precautions.
• Knowledge of protocols for adverse reaction, reporting of incidents and injuries.
• Storage and transportation of necessary supplies to include vaccine.
• Knowledge and understanding of the dosage, administration, indications, precautions, contraindications and possible adverse reactions related to the vaccine being administered.
• Knowledge of intramuscular injection technique and subcutaneous injection technique.

Qualifications

• Current CA Vocational Nurse License
• CPR/BLS, issued by the American Heart Association
• 1 year of experience as an LVN within the last 3 years
• updated Health records
