Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Entry support individual contributor that completes routine tasks under close supervision, following a defined standard output or set of procedures. Provides assistance to internal teams in the Manufacturing Assembly area. Closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables. Maintains high standards of professionalism, efficiency, personal communication, discretion, and independent judgment.

You will be responsible for:

• Conducts routine tasks for the support function of the Manufacturing Assembly area under direct supervision, and closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
• Completes maintenance tasks based on best practices in the industry in order to foster a safe working environment.
• Installs components of basic in-process products, assemblies, or sub-assemblies on the assembly line.
• Develops competency with routine machinery under direct supervision.
• Records daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.
• Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Education

• HSD or equivalent.
  

Experience and Skills

Required:

• Ability to learn and adhere to specific procedures according to the department training plan. 
• Ability to read, comprehend and apply documentation such as safety, operating and maintenance instructions. 
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele base. 
• Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and the public. 
• Ability to perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures and in to comply civil rights requirements.
•  Demonstrates understanding of health and safety requirements. 
• Able to deliver oral and written communications and use electronic systems. undefined

Preferred:

• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge preferred.  6 months or more hands-on-experience in manufacturing environment preferred. 
• Demonstrates some awareness of other engineering specialties and upstream stakeholders, including Quality Engineering and New Product Introduction teams.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$38,500.00 - $61,985.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.


Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
