MachineOperatorI– Special Processes

This is a full-time hourly position that works primarily duringfirstshift (Mon-Thu6am-5pm) but may berequiredto adjust working hours as needed to adequately lead the team and meet production demands.

ManufacturingSupport Team MemberEssential Job Functions:

In this role,you willbe a part of a dynamic team in all aspects of manufacturing high-quality components in a fast-paced environment. As a team member,you willbe a part of daily production activities operating gundrills, reamers, rifling machines, and/or CNC lathes, as assigned by your teamlead. Through the practice ofutilizinga daily management system, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback towards process improvements and lean initiatives.

What you'll do

• Manufacture complex gun componentsutilizingGun drill machine,CNC Lathes, and other special processesequipment

• Ensure the processoperatesin accordance withdefinedstandards

• Followset production schedule, and report any problems to the Team Lead

• In-process inspectionutilizingMics, Calipers, Indicators,Mahr systems, Air Gauges

• Complete manufacturing quality and production paperwork in accordance with good documentation practices and ISO 9001

• Tool Change/ Tool settingin accordance to set procedures

• Tool wear offsetsto ensurethe highestqualityofparts

• Deburringparts as needed, provide feedback when applicable

• Operate multiple machines, as needed

• Housekeeping

Other Job Functions:

• Assistwithimprovement-related projects, questions, andsolvingproblems as needed.

• Participate in department responses to corrective actions, and preventative actions

• Perform routine safety, quality, and work skills training.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Thisposition requiresuseof information or access to hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.

• This position requires the successful candidate to not be a prohibited person under the Gun Control Act (GCA), codified at 18 U.S.C. § 922(g).

Environmental and Working Conditions:

• Work is performed on a10 acre,6 campus building;potentialneedto move between buildings. Musthave physical ability to walk betweenbuildingsas necessary.

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to typical machinery and equipment.

• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.

• Requires the ability tooccasionallyliftupto75lbs

• Standing for extended periods and moving around the production floorfrequently.
