Machine Opr PR04 2nd Shift/MSC/Full Time/Humboldt Plant, TN

Job Details:

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Responsible for setting up machine and/or breaking down machine. Pay is $19.45 per hour PLUS an additional $2 per hour shift differential.

Working Conditions
Team members work in a poultry processing environment and may be exposed to:
• Wet floors and slippery surfaces
• Production line equipment
• Repetitive motion activities
• Product splash exposure
• Elevated noise levels
• Potential laceration and puncture hazards associated with production tools and equipment

Safety Expectations
• Follow all Tyson Foods safety procedures and workplace policies.
• Use designated handrails and walkways.
• Never walk on drain covers.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Perform stretching activities before and during the shift to help reduce repetitive-motion injuries.
• Report unsafe conditions immediately to leadership.

Training Requirements
• Successful completion of On-the-Job Training (OJT).

3-Month operator experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 3 months.

180 days wait period from last termination date,

3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before)
