Machinist | Oil and Gas | Saudi Arabia

The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to manufacture and repair precision components used in oil & gas equipment. The role ensures all work meets Engineering requirements and Saudi Aramco standards for quality, safety, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate conventional and CNC machines (lathe, milling, drilling, grinding).

• Manufacture and repair parts for pumps, valves, and rotating equipment

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications

• Measure finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers)

• Ensure compliance with Aramco standards (SAES, GI) and QA/QC requirements

• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting

• Follow HSE procedures and permit-to-work systems

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

Qualification Background:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Machining (or equivalent)

Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in oil & gas industry

Knowledge of manual and CNC machining

Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments

Familiarity with Aramco standards is preferred
