Maintenance & Construction Technician

PMC Services (PMCS), a division of Priestley Management Company, is looking for a skilled Maintenance & Construction Technician to join our growing team.

This is more than a typical maintenance position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving problems, and is comfortable performing a wide variety of residential and commercial maintenance and construction tasks.

The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while providing excellent customer service to homeowners, property managers, and board members.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and construction repairs for residential and commercial properties.

• Troubleshoot and repair drywall, painting, carpentry, roofing, siding, gutters, doors, windows, fencing, and other building components.

• Complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs.

• Safely work from extension ladders, step ladders, and rooftops when required.

• Assist with roofing, exterior repairs, and larger construction projects.

• Read scopes of work and follow project specifications.

• Document completed work with photos and detailed notes using mobile software.

• Identify additional maintenance concerns and communicate findings to management.

• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area.

• Work closely with the Operations and Project Management teams to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of maintenance or construction experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of general carpentry, drywall, painting, roofing, siding, gutters, and exterior building maintenance.

  • Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting experience.

  • Comfortable working on ladders and rooftops.

  • Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as needed.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and professional communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Construction management or project coordination experience is a plus.
