Priory Hospital Glasgow has an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our team.

Priory Hospital Glasgow, Glasgow is a specialist inpatient treatment centre providing support for mental health conditions and addictions, including depression treatment, alcohol and drug rehabilitation, and private autism assessments for adults. It is accessible by public transport, with local train stations nearby and easy access from Glasgow city centre, as well as motorway links

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.

You will oversee and deliver an efficient and effective maintenance service within our hospital, supporting the wellbeing, comfort and safety of our patients.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential for the role
  • Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in an electrical, mechanical or building trade with Joint Industries Board approved status.
  • Experience in a facilities, operational, trade or maintenance role.
  • Understanding of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of patients residing at or attending our hospital.
